SAI GON
2D Animation Short Film
This is the first movie I make in my freshman year of college. The film depicts a day in Saigon of a girl student looking for ideas for her thesis. Through her journey, we can see the beauty of Saigon and its people.
In this project, I work as a character color, background color, and animation.
I work with Pham Mai Khanh, Tran Hong An, Vo Binh Khanh Ngoc and Nguyen Ngoc Gia Han in this project.
Storyboard
Our series is structured in 3 volumes: Introduction, Problem Solving, and Problem Solving.
We choose a gentle plot that gives viewers a sense of relaxation.
Because of the length of the film, we have chosen details and situations that clearly show the character's personality and actions while still ensuring the continuity and rhythm of the film.
Character
The characters in the film are inspired by the images of close people in Saigon.
For each character, we tried to design them to be friendly and approachable while also making it easier to see the character's nuances and emotions when appearing.
Actions & Emotions
The actions and expressions of the character clearly show their personality. She is an optimistic girl who loves life and sometimes gets tired of the deadline.
